Calines's cattery is in a quiet flat from La Chapelle Saint Luc, next to Troyes (FRANCE).
Our
small cattery was founded in 2004 with one "test"
litter, but finaly passion won and I decided to start my own little breeding in
the middle of 2005. Our main goals are to find and use different and
not so over exploited blood lines for both Bombay and the Burmese breed
here in France.
In
order to make good things happen for this breed one have to have lots of
patience. We must wait and search, in order to find interesting cats, with good
blood lines and lovely type.
I
have no cages for my cats and the kittens are
born and rasied in our home and are thanks to this very social and outgoing, as
they are used to the sounds of everyday life such as the TV and vaccumcleaner
which will make it easier for them adapt to their new homes and families.
My queens are FIV/FELV negative and
haven't had any contact with outside cats or other animals. For
Sphynx, the only girl I have as breeder will be tested
HCM in 2008's beginning.
There will not be litters so often, since I respect my girls and
want them to rest in between their litters. Their health is more important
to me than having kittens to sell!
